The last day of term 3 was also the last day for Year 12 at Parkes Christian School. This is the second time that Parkes Christian School has had a graduating Year 12 class. The graduating class were presented with their final reports as well as prizes during the Founders’ Service.

Bethany Magill took out the Dux Award for Year 12. This award was presented by Mrs Jacqueline Greenland, President of the Parkes Christian School’s Parents and Friends Committee. Bethany also won the Long Tan Youth Award for Leadership. The school was honoured to have an Australian Defence Force representative, Able Seaman – Combat Systems Operator Ethan Clifton present to make the presentation to Bethany. Bethany also won the Caltex All-Rounder Award.

The Rueben F Scarf Award for Commitment to Learning was presented to Kaitlyn Strudwick.
During the service the School Captains for 2017 were also announced. Congratulations goes to Rachel Thorncroft and James Simpson. From the beginning of term 4 Rachel and James will head up the newly formed Student Representative Council.
