Last Wednesday our school held a Pie Day. This was a fun day where we got to celebrate the maths term pie (π). On this day students and teachers were able to order a hot pie from Smeatons Bakery for their lunch.

Also, Mr Quince, Mr Brown and some other teachers held a pie eating contest with a competitor from each year, and our Principal Mr Westcott got involved and ate the pie in the messiest way.

In the end, the victorious class was… Year 9! Proudly represented by Scott Green.

At the end of the day, it was a great success and we raised some funds towards our PA system. We are all looking forward to continuing this day again next year.
