Athletics Carnival

Thank you for your wonderful support of the P & F, which allowed us to run the canteen again this year. Not only is it a great fundraiser, but being one of the only canteen days during the year, it also adds an extra element of excitement for the children.

Five cent challenge

The five cent challenge held in March was a great success, with the primary school in particular really engaging in this fun way to raise money. $500 was raised altogether with Years 3-4 winning this year’s challenge. They were rewarded with a pizza party.

Hot food days

Over the last twelve months, the P & F has been able to gradually step away from our traditional role of providing “Hot food days”, with this responsibility now falling entirely on the SRC. Don’t forget the chicken burger day on Thursday 24th May – google forms need to be submitted and payment submitted to the office.

P & F purchases

Some of the purchases which have been made recently with P & F funds include metal seats and tables for the playground, and a new BBQ, which has already seen some use. We will also see the timers that were purchased by the P & F used at this year’s athletics carnival.

Last Thursday we held our AGM, where reports for the previous twelve months were tabled and the executive stood down from their positions. After the nomination and voting process, positions were filled. The committee remains unchanged for the next twelve months. Please prayerfully consider the positions on the P & F executive, we would love to see new people in the roles.

What’s Coming Up

Pie Drive

We are also looking for helpers to pack pies on Thursday 7th June. This will be in the morning and is likely to take a few hours. If you can help, even for a short while, please let the office know, or contact Jacquelyn on

Spring Fair

On September 15th we will be holding our biennial Spring Fair. This is our biggest fundraiser and it also takes a lot of time, organisation and effort to put together. This year we will again be holding an auction, if you would like to donate items or know a person or business who would, please let us know.

Are you a baker? Please consider baking for our cake stall.

Are you a gardener? We will be looking for donations of potted plants.

Do you have time to spare on the day? We will need lots of parent helpers to run and man stalls on the day of the fair.

Please pray that we will have fantastic weather and that this event will be a successful fundraiser for the school and a wonderful opportunity to showcase the school to the wider community.
