Years 3-6 students made a twine image depicting the rugged cross which represents Jesus death on the cross. The twine continuously wrapped around the cross represents His death and embracing love. The red textured wool symbolises Jesus love and the blood shed for us. The blue sponging for the background shows the living water that faith in Jesus is compared to in John 4. We used 24 strands of twine made into rope. There is over two kilometres of twine.

Inspiration: A big part of our school’s purpose and hope is to let the students know how valuable, special and loved they are. We want them to know that no matter what is happening in their lives, whatever they have done – God’s Love will never end! God continues to love each one of His precious creations.
