The SRC hosted Footy Colours Day and a BBQ to celebrate the end of a big term!

Just like the Tokyo Olympics we had to postpone our High School Olympics earlier in the term but it made for a great last day of school for the term.

The Olympics were officially opened by Mr Westcott and the current Student of the Week by the lighting of the Olympic Torch and Houses entered the arena with chants and tried to intimidate the opposition with their signs.

High School students competed in their Houses in a series of challenges to show their strength, speed and agility including; the gumboot throw, wheelie bin race, weetbix eating challenge and many more.

Students competed for house points and teams faced off in tug-o-war to claim victory. While it was close, Team Discovery who took out the victory, showing us all again their strength in the sporting arena.

At the end of the day it was all the staff and students who won as it was a great end to the term and students should be commended for their participation and enthusiasm for the event.

A big thanks to Primary as well who came out to cheer on our teams and were fantastic spectators.
