As a (kinda, sorta) Queenslander in NSW for Origin it is a great time. Win or lose the rivalry is awesome! The best games are not the ones where one team dominates, but the ones like just this week, with a bit of give and take. The feeling of any team being able to win is much more rewarding whether you win or lose. It’s about the possibility.
The mindset of anything being possible has driven people to outstanding things for generations and it’s something we see here everyday at PCS. Each day we see this mindset where impossible things start to become possible with a bit of hope, passion and drive. Just this week I have seen great things become a reality. From the hard work of Miss Harris and the team putting the finishing touches on Mary Poppins, to students stepping out of their comfort zones or having a breakthrough in their learning.
It’s hard to reign in a runaway game. A mountain of tries scored against you equals big numbers to chase down especially if you’ve not put the work in to try along the way. A great comeback story is epic but the more common stories show consistent hard work to make all things possible. It’s a great moment to stop and think that anything can happen!
It is wonderful to see possibilities created through each and every experience we have here at PCS. Win or lose we have to be at our best to get the most out of each moment. So as we head into the last week of term; rest up, lean in and know that anything is possible.
