K-2 will be visiting Dubbo zoo on Friday 19th August, to link to the Science units of what's alive and Geography habitats. Students will be participating in the Zoo's Educational Centers Animal Encounters program on the day. Itinerary8.00am SHARP depart PCS9.30am Begin Zoo fun12.30pm Picnic lunch1.00pm Depart Zoo2.45pm Arrive back at PCSStudents are required to wear sports uniform They will need to bring a hat, their morning tea, lunch and a drink bottle. All items need to be clearly labelled.
On Friday 19th August, students will participate in the Laurie Wakefield Shield hockey competition involving Under 16s boys teams from across the Western Region.Itinerary9.00am SHARP arrive at Parkes Hockey Fields9.30am Games begin3.30pm Carnival concludesStudents will need to find their own way to and from the ground. There is no need for them to go to school before the carnival. Students to wear their sports uniform, and will be provided with a uniform on the day. They mustbring shin pads and a mouth guard.
