Parkes Christian School is holding a Year 7 Orientation Day on Thursday, 11 November. This day is a great opportunity for students to experience a day as a high school student - moving between classrooms, having multiple teachers, reading a timetable and meeting new people. All students will be provided with pens, a book to use for the day, and a Chromebook. Students will need to bring their pencil case with normal stationery supplies, a hat, drink bottle and recess and lunch - there is no school canteen. The 2022 Primary School Captain application forms have been sent home with Year 5 students. This form is the first step in your child's captain application. It contains information we have discussed in class. It also contains some questions for your child to answer regarding why they would like to become captain and how they intend to serve our school community in this role. On Thursday 25 November, PCS students can dress up in their House Colours. Cost is a gold coin donation (to go towards our SRC fundraising.) We will also be having a Bake Sale, so bring some coins along to purchase some yummy goodies at recess and lunch. Price range from 50c to $4.

We are having an Eagles Pizza Party for being the Term 4 house points winners on Thursday 2 December at Lunch time. Congratulations to Team Discovery on winning the Term 2 house point competition.
