King & Queen of the Mountain (Cross Country)

The PCS King & Queen of the Mountain Festival is on Friday, 8 April 2022.
Location: Northparkes Oval
Time: 10:50am to 2:50pm
Wear: House colours (Sharks – Blue, Eagles – Yellow, Lions – Red).
Bring: Hat, sunscreen, lunch and a water bottle and a jumper in case the weather turns cool
Spectators: Family and friends of students are most welcome to attend the carnival! We would love to see
Drop off and pick up: Students are expected to all come to school as per normal in the morning. During
recess, students will be catching buses to Northparkes Oval. Students are to be picked up from the oval at
2:50pm. Buses will pick up students from the oval who normally catch the afternoon bus. The Forbes bus
will leave from Northparkes Oval. (No students will be returning to PCS).
As part of the festival, Stage 6 PDH students have devised 2 obstacle courses for students to complete as
many times as they like; K-2, 3-6 and 7-12. The head to head course will provide the opportunity for
students to challenge a friend in agility, speed, strength, skill, and maybe some good luck!
The SRC sponsored event will include a finals series and prizes for the winning students.
The SRC will be bringing down the icicle bicycle to the Northparkes Oval, where they will be selling ice
blocks. Prices range from $0.50-$2. Eftpos available (minimum charge $5).
