Our theme for Stage 3 Art this week was: ‘Just because we’re in social isolation, doesn’t mean you can’t go on adventures!’
We had a look at two very famous 3D pavement chalk artists, Julian Beever which is Belgium based and Edgar Mueller, a German artist which became famous through his YouTube videos.
The students had to look at various examples of their work to get some ideas and inspiration to use in their own pavement chalk drawings.
As we are not allowed to go to many places at this stage, the students had to think of a place where they would love to be and to incorporate that into their art.
They were also challenged to see if they could include themselves or a sibling as part of their artwork!
