Early in Term 1, we made fairy bread. What does making fairy bread have to do with writing you may ask?
Year 1 knows that writing is all about communicating. We made fairy bread so that we could write a procedural text.
Our writing was great. We made sure we had a title, an ingredients/materials list and a step by step guide to making fairy bread.
We loved writing our procedure, but enjoyed making and eating it more!
