On Tuesday 18 February, students from Year 6 took control of the airwaves. Ashton Boland, Eloise Griffiths, Toutai Lavaka and Suzanne Smit presented a variety of items and shared some of their favourite songs with the community.
A highlight of the hour included a 6 minute segment where, even though the technology wasn’t working properly, the students ensured that the show went on. Other highlights included the debut of a radio drama recorded by the Year 6 class and a live reader’s theater.
Throughout this experience, students demonstrated good manners and a high level of professionalism. Well done Year 6 and thank you Valley FM Radio for this opportunity.
