Year 6 has had a busy start to the year with writing factual descriptions about Australian landmarks, building paper bridges strong enough to hold approximately two kilograms and hosting a one hour radio broadcast on Valley FM. With many more amazing challenges planned for this year, 2020 is looking to be filled with a whole lot of learning, adventure and fun.
Our motto for this year is, “Happy is the person who finds wisdom and understanding.” Proverbs 3:13. We recognize that happiness comes from knowing our Creator God, understanding ourselves and exploring the world we live in, so our focus is to learn as much as possible.
We have a dynamic group of seventeen students who are all encouraging and supporting one another to do their best in the classroom and in the wider school community.
The year is shaping up to be outstanding!
