On Sunday March 8th our school was invited to attend the International Women’s Day lunch hosted by the QUE club of Parkes.
Talesha Ellis, Year 11 and Miranda McGrath, Year 10 represented the school at this event, where one of the guest speakers Dr Khazima Riaz (who also had a connection to our school community as the mother of Zaviar Year 7 and Zayn Year 6) spoke eloquently about her life as a migrant to Australia.
